Hey, it's Kerrie here! In episode 249 of the Ecommerce Society podcast, I dive into my recent experience speaking at a jewelry expo, called PJX. I share insights on the immense power of community and networking, the importance of constantly revising and improving your presentations, and the value of asking for compensation.
Building relationships and connections within your industry can open up invaluable opportunities. I emphasize the significance of engaging your audience and adjusting your presentation based on their reactions. I reflect on what worked and what didn’t during my trade show presentation and discuss the necessity of better preparation and setting boundaries when committing to multiple events.
One of the key takeaways is the importance of starting with virtual speaking opportunities to gain experience. Don't forget to capture videos or photos for social proof! Listen in as I talk about how speaking engagements can be a game-changer for product-based businesses, providing visibility and a chance to connect with new audiences.

Repeat customers are the bloodline of your business- you need them and you want more of them. Customer Loyalty is kind of this weird buzzword but it can be hard to actually know HOW to get it- what do you need to do. In this episode of Ecommerce Society, I will show you HOW to get more repeat customers, why you want them, and 5 things you can start doing today to get them in your business.
I also use real examples- for example I just spent $150 this morning with the brand, Dressed in Lala. This was my second order with them in the span of one month- why and how did they get me to spend $150 on top of the $57 I spent with them the first time……..Listen to find out.

In this bonus episode of the Ecommerce Society Podcast, updates and changes to the signature mentor coaching education program, the Cultish Product Program, are discussed. The program is now a three-month group coaching mentor program focusing on creating a cult-like brand, providing a scroll-stopping customer experience, setting up sales on autopilot, and getting repeat customers.
The Cultish Product Program is ideal for new or semi-established product business owners looking to improve their direct-to-consumer channels and increase sales.
In this episode, I share my struggles and internal battles as I start my second product-based business. I discuss the pressure to make everything perfect, the challenge of overthinking every decision, the fear of failure, and the difficulty of managing multiple businesses simultaneously. I emphasize the importance of taking action and making smart business decisions based on data and customer preferences.
