Episode 31 Eddie Abshire In 1981, hard working George 'Eddie' Abshire was pursuing his calling in the ministry while supporting his wife and five children by managing a steak house in New Orleans. In June of that year, he was brutally stabbed to death while closing the steakhouse during a robbery. Eddie's death left his family devastated and changed their lives forever. Almost four decades later, Eddie's murder remains unsolved despite strong suspects in the case.
