Edward Mitchell Bannister was a 19th Century artist known for his landscape paintings. He's considered an African-American art star. But, he was actually born in New Brunswick, in 1828, and in Canada, his work is almost completely unknown. David Woods wants to change that. He's a curator and a writer working on a book about Black art history in Canada.
