Sometimes, paranormal experiences happen when you least expect it--or where you least expect it. This week Dad tells gives details about his ghostly encounter in Italy, and then we dive into your tales. Every town has its stories and cautionary tales and every former skeptic has that one encounter that made them a believer.

Would you start a cult for your cat? Called by the word of god after the death of her cat and inspired by her dabble with Egyptian alchemy, Sheryl Ruthven began preaching that cats would be the vessels that saved their souls during the apocalypse... and that's not the most surprising thing you'll hear in this episode. This week, we're diving into how one woman's aspiration to be a pentecostal preacher spun so wildly out of control.

Hallie Illingworth vanished in 1937. Her husband said she ran off with another man. Three years later, her body surfaced in Lake Crescent, Washington, perfectly preserved by a bizarre and incredibly rare chemical reaction. This week we dive into the real story behind the legend of the Lady of the Lake, one of the Pacific Northwest's most chilling cases.

This week, co-host Morgan and I are diving into the bandage man: a mummy-like cryptid that's known to haunt (or hunt) Highways 101 and 26 leading into Cannon Beach, Oregon. Since the 40's, this entity has been wreaking havoc on lovers lanes and terrifying tourists as they drive along the coastline. Unconvinced? you won't be after hearing peoples encounters with him (it??) in real life.

What is supposed to be a quiet resting place for the families and individuals who travelled west on the Oregon trail, has become infamous for the chilling encounters, physical paranormal attacks, and a witches curse that has haunted the town for over a century. Many say the Lafayette Pioneer Cemetery is one of Oregons most haunted places, but what, or who, is behind the ghostly tales.

Gilbert Gilman, James Griffin, and John Devine have 2 things in common: they loved the outdoors, and they all mysteriously vanished in Olympic National Park. While no one is immune to Mother Nature, Internet conspiracy theorist David Paulides suggests that something more sinister is at play.

This week, we're dedicating an entire episode to the strange figure seen by multiple people, years apart, on Highway 22 in Oregon. After reading about this, the family decided to do their own investigating and reports back their findings. Could this be an entity caught in a time loop? or is it just an innocent person walking their nightly route on a dark 2 lane highway.
