Deep in the Columbia River Gorge, hikers and locals are reporting encounters with a mysterious creature known as the Klickitat or Ebony Ape Cat. Since 2022, there's been a growing number of sightings all centered around Bingen, Washington where a local outdoor store has been collecting eye-witness accounts and recording the anomalies that accompany it: Compasses spinning. Batteries draining. No physical evidence...yet. This week we dive into the theories surrounding this creature, ranging from Nuclear plant mutant to large house cat on the loose.
Is the Klickitat Ape Cat a creepy cryptid, a radioactive mutation, or a marketing myth for the Gorge? Listen and decide for yourself.

On September 17, 1992, 14 year old Misty Copsey disappeared after a trip to the Puyallup Fair and despite many big crime players operating in the area at the time (like the green river killer) police dismissed it as a runaway case for months. This week we dig into the missed leads, sketchy suspects, and jurisdictional mess that left a lasting impact on her still unsolved case today.

For our 30th episode we're bringing you true (?) Bigfoot and Sasquatch encounters pulled straight from Reddit. Creepy? absolutely. Believable? TBD. Hope you're not planning on camping soon, because these stories even spooked the Sasquatch skeptics in our group.

Before it was one of Oregon's most haunted hotels, McMenamins Edgefield was a Poor Farm: a 330-acre campus in Troutdale where the sick, elderly, orphaned, and unhoused worked at or lived out their final years. Now ranked among the top 10 most haunted hotels in the US, Edgefield's guest ghost log is filled with decades of encounters.
In this episode we dig into the ghost stories, guest book entries, and staff encounters that have made it one of the Pacific Northwest's most talked-about haunted destinations. Would you spend the night there?

In 1967, a three-year-old horse named Snippy was found stripped to the bone with no blood, no tracks, and no explanation, kicking off decades of unexplained livestock mutilations across the American West. By the 1970s, ranchers in Eastern Oregon were finding cows in similar manners: reproductive organs removed, tongues gone, no blood at the scene, and scavengers mysteriously avoiding the bodies.
In this episode we dig into the history of cattle mutilation reports, the FBI investigation that went nowhere, and the modern-day cases from 2019–2022 that reignited the mystery and became the subject of an Unsolved Mysteries episode. Aliens, satanic cults, government cover-ups, or just nature doing what nature does?

In part 2 we dig into the fallout after JZ Knight's explosive public divorce trial cracked the empire she built with Ramtha (the 35,000-year-old Atlantean warrior that channels ancient wisdom through her) wide open, revealing manipulation, financial control, and lawsuits galore. Former students speak out over fears of reptilian armies, lye poisoning, and.dangerous hours long wine ceremonies. What was Ramtha actually teaching? and did a viral drunken tirade reveal the true character of the woman behind the curtain. Despite everything, nearly 50 years later, Ramtha's School of Enlightenment is still running.

In 1977, a Tacoma housewife picked up a paper pyramid as a joke and somehow channeled a 35,000-year-old warrior spirit in her kitchen. That spirit, Ramtha, would go on to turn Knight into a multimillionaire guru and the founder of a controversial "school" on an 80-acre compound in Yelm, Washington that still operates today.
In part 1 we dive into the wild origin story of one of the New Age movement's biggest names. From that first strange encounter through Ramtha's explosion into pop culture, including celebrity followers, appearances in mainstream media, and the birth of the channeling movement that would influence decades of New Age spirituality. We dig into who JZ Knight really is, how "Ramtha" first spoke, and how a paper pyramid turned into an empire.

Have you heard of PropMan? In 1944, a WWII B-24 bomber crashed into Mission Ridge near Wenatchee, Washington and one crew member was never found. Since then, hikers, ski patrollers, and Boy Scouts have reported terrifying encounters with a figure in a military uniform, missing limbs, and a propeller blade protruding from his chest. This Pacific Northwest urban legend has been scaring kids to stay in their cabins for decades. Is it fact, fiction, or something in between?

Don't listen with the lights off because we're reading Reddit's creepiest haunted house stories. As you'll hear in todays episode, for us, there's no amount of vintage charm a house can have to make up for shadow figures, disembodied voices, knocks, closet doors opening, and all manner of things that go bump in the night. But maybe these surprise residents want to help make a haunted house, a haunted home :)
