Hosea 14:1 O Israel, return unto the LORD your God, for you hast fallen
by your iniquity.
Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Prudent,
and he shall know them? For the ways of the LORD are right, and the
just shall walk in them: But the transgressors shall fall therein.
Joel 2:15-17 Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a solemn
assembly, gather the people. Consecrate the congregation, assemble the
elders, gather the children, even nursing infants. Let the bridegroom
leave his room, and the bride her chamber. Between the vestibule and
the altar let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep and say, Spare
your people, O LORD, and make not your heritage a reproach, a byword
among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is
their God?.
Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD
your God: For he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he

Deuteronomy 29:10-15 You stand today, all of you, before the LORD your
God, your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, all the men of
Israel, your little ones, your wives, and your stranger that is in your camp,
from the cutter of your wood to the drawer of your water, so that you should
enter into covenant with the LORD your God, and into His oath, which the
LORD your God makes you today, that He may establish you today for a people
to Himself, and that He may be a God to you, as He has said to you, and as He
has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. Nor do I make
this covenant and this oath with you only, but with him who stands here with
us today before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with
us today.
Deuteronomy 29:16-19 (For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt,
and how we came through the nations which ye passed by, And ye have seen
their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were
among them:) Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or
tribe, whose heart turned away this day from the LORD our God, to go and
serve the gods of these nations, lest there should be among you a root that bears
gall and wormwood, And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this
curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I
walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst.
Deuteronomy 29:20,21 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of
the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that
are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his
name from under heaven. And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all
the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written
in this book of the law.

Deuteronomy 26:1,2 And it shall be, when you come into the land which

Numbers 35:9-15 “Adonai said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Israel,
‘When you cross the Yarden into the land of Kena‘an, you are to
designate for yourselves cities that will be cities of refuge for you, to
which anyone who kills someone by mistake can flee. These cities are
to be a refuge for you from the dead person’s next-of-kin, who might
otherwise avenge his kinsman’s death by slaying the killer prior to his
standing trial before the community. In regard to the cities you are to
give, there are to be six cities of refuge for you. You are to give three
cities east of the Yarden and three cities in the land of Kena‘an; they
will be cities of refuge. These six cities will serve as refuge for the
people of Isra’el, as well as for the foreigner and resident alien with
them; so that anyone who kills someone by mistake may flee there.”
