Numbers 25:6,7 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and
brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses,
and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were
weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And
when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it,
he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his
hand;
Exodus 2:16,17 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and
they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their father's
flock. The shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up
and saved them, and watered their flock.

Numbers 22:2 Now Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done
to the Amorites.
Numbers 22:3-5 And Moab was exceedingly afraid of the people
because they were many, and Moab was sick with dread because of the
children of Israel. So Moab said to the elders of Midian, Now this
company will lick up everything around us, as an ox licks up the grass
of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at
that time. Then he sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor at Pethor,
which is near the River in the land of the sons of his people, to call him,
saying: Look, a people has come from Egypt. See, they cover the face of
the earth, and are settling next to me!
Numbers 22:6 Therefore please come at once, curse this people for me,
for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and
drive them out of the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed,
and he whom you curse is cursed.

Numbers 19:1,2 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, This
is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto
the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no
blemish, and upon which never came yoke.
Numbers 19:3,4 And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring
her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: פניו) panay) And
Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood
directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times.
Numbers 19:6-8 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet,
and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. Then the priest shall wash his
clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the
camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even. And he that burneth her shall
wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until
the even.
Leviticus 1:3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male
without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation before פנים the LORD.

the LORD?
Deuteronomy 14:1,2 You are the children of the LORD your God: You
shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness קרחה between your
eyes for the dead. For you are a holy people to the LORD your God,
and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for his own possession,
above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.
