Divorce is ranked as one of the most stressful life events, second only to the death of a spouse. In a sense it is a death - of your hopes and dreams and expectations of your future life. Sometimes Reiki opens up your innate abilities or widens your energetic scope that you may have suppressed or ignored. For some people they start to see auras, archetypal entities, people who have passed over, or hearing messages etc. It's a shame if this stops you using Reiki if its a fearful avenue to go down. Better to create clear boundaries around what you want to explore, and what you don't. It's always up to you what gifts you want to follow.
