During this episode we take a serious walk and talk about life challenges. We discuss how we were never meant to deal with these challenges alone. We draw on the life of Robin Williams, one of our greatest comics, to explore how he dealt with his own challenges, giving us courage to face our own.
Anyone facing struggles will get a different perspective on how to manage their own by listening to this episode.

Walkabout takeaways:
Robin Williams, Thank You!
Robin Williams did suffer from chronic depression and substance abuse problems over the decades but this did not contribute to his death. It was not until later it was learned that Robin was suffering from a degenerative brain disease, Lewy body dementia.
Susan Schneider, William’s widow, has given us precious insight into how this disease entered into Robin’s life and led to his death in a documentary called Robin’s Wish.
Robin was a gift and words can never express the true appreciation of what he has given the world.

During this walkabout TC & Wilkie explore sarcasm, what it is and where it comes to life. It can be both funny or a weapon of self destruction. Listeners will appreciate why it is used and receive pointers on how to manage it.
Join our walk as we discuss sarcasm in the work environment & with our friends and family. We discuss our own experience with sarcasm either receiving it or sharing it with others.
Sarcasm is here to stay, keep the following in mind:
● Be honest with people, if it bothers you let them know;
● When using it, know your audience and the damage it can cause;
● It is a double edged sword, truly cutting remarks can cut deep, please handle with care.
Even with the best of intentions sarcasm can easily turn from witty banter to witless banter leaving no winners in the end.
