  • 20 Thanksgiving Movies To Watch This Season
In honor of this year’s celebration, I have put together a list of some of the best Thanksgiving movies to watch this month, especially after consuming a ton of turkey, ham, stuffing and mac n’ cheese. Because the only activity we feel like doing after eating our second, third and sometimes fourth piece of pie is sitting in front of the TV and enjoying quality entertainment with family and friends.

    (2). DUTCH (1991).

  • 12 Classic Thanksgiving Food Items That Are A Must Have
Planning a Thanksgiving menu is serious work. The expectations are high, and while there’s plenty of room to mix and match, there are certain classic Thanksgiving dishes that are a must to have on your dinner table.
(1). Turkey (Roasted or Fried). Turkey is the main dish for Thanksgiving feasts. No matter what you choose to make, the key to a successful dinner is having a turkey large enough to feed everybody and to have some leftovers for yourself.
(2). Ham. Not all households are fans of turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner. Many chose a flavorful ham instead.
(3). Stuffing and Dressing. Stuffing and dressing are alike but not the same. The main difference is that stuffing is cooked inside of the turkey and dressing is cooked and served separately. But this distinction is less strict nowadays with so many people having different preferences.
(4). Mashed Potatoes & Gravy. Mashed potatoes and gravy are one of most people’s favorite combinations on Thanksgiving plates.
(5). Turkey Gravy. For many people, the gravy is as important as the turkey.
(6). Cranberry Sauce. Cranberry sauce has a lot of variations, and can easily take on citrus flavoring, liqueur, or spices without losing its character.
(7). Sweet Potatoes and Yams. Sweet potatoes and yams are mistakenly thought of as the same thing. Despite both being root vegetables, they're not the same, nor are the flavor and texture they bring to your holiday table. Both are a must-have on Thanksgiving, but many families have a favorite.
(8). Vegetable Sides (Cooked). The vegetable sides you choose will depend on what you and your family like best. There are no right or wrong choices.
(9). Salads. Salads have taken over holiday tables and the options are so numerous and flavorful that it's hard to pick a few that best complement your dinner choices.
(10). Rolls. Even if your dinner menu is already a bounty of dishes, rolls have a key part to play in Thanksgiving dinner. They are a beautiful and soft vehicle to clean your plate and are sought after because of the buttery and flaky texture.
(11). Apple Pie. Homemade apple pie is a staple on Thanksgiving tables. You can't skip it.
(12). Classic Pumpkin Pie. Just like apple pie, pumpkin pie is a dessert you absolutely can't skip. Most people have one slice of both!

  • How To Show Gratitude Everyday
    How To Show Gratitude Everyday
(1). Set aside time every day to make a list of what you are thankful for. Ann Voskamp says it best: “When I give thanks for the seemingly microscopic, I make a place for God to grow within me.”
(2). Learn to say “thank you”.
(3). Never allow other people’s bitterness or negativity, influence your inner peace.
(4). Anger, disappointment, failure, and frustration are parts of life; but don’t let them become your default emotions.
    (5). Build gratitude around you.
    (6). Keep a Gratitude Journal.

  • Freddy Krueger's Backstory Explained
Hi and welcome back to another Podcast. Hi and welcome back to another Podcast. This month I am going to be sharing some interesting facts about a few of the most scary and loved characters to ever grace the screen on Halloween. Enjoy!
When Frederick Charles Krueger first got out of our dreams and into our cars in 1984's A Nightmare on Elm Street, he was unlike anything that mainstream horror audiences had witnessed before. Mutilated, ruthless, and gleefully sadistic, Freddy had that movie monster "it" factor. He was intangible. He was aggressive. He was probably just a figment of your imagination.
    Enjoy!

  • 10 Facts About Jason Voorhees Every Fan Should Know
Hi and welcome back to another Podcast. Hi and welcome back to another Podcast. This month I am going to be sharing some interesting facts about a few of the most scary and loved characters to ever grace the screen on Halloween. Enjoy!
Jason Voorhees is one of the most dangerous horror villains to ever exist. From his immense strength to his seemingly unstoppable durability, it is no secret that he is almost invincible. Not only that but he has one of the highest kill counts out of any horror villain. That being said, there is more to Jason, some things that newcomers may not know about. Something that gives the character more depth than just being some indestructible and mute monster.
(10). He Isn't The First Villain Of Friday The 13th.
(9). He Became A Zombie During The 6th Film.
(8). He Wore His Iconic Mask By Part 3.
(7). His Design Is Never Consistent.
(6). He Is Portrayed By A Lot Of Actors.
(5). He Wasn't Originally Going To Be Deformed.
(4). The Character Is Named After Victor Miller's Sons.
(3). Jason Was Supposed To Stay Dead.
(2). He Fought Fellow Horror Icons (Freddy Kruger and Ash).
(1). Sexual Acts Trigger Him. When Jason first initially drowned in Camp Crystal Lake, it was because two camp counselors were too busy having sex. Although it doesn't seem to appear all that often, it seems like there is the occasional moment where a sexual act can awaken him to kill.

(14). His Eye Was Permanently Damaged.
(13). He Stole His Coveralls From A Mechanic.

(11). He May Be Made Of Pure Evil- Dr. Loomis explains this by saying, “I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up, because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil.”
(10). He’s Never Talked As An Adult- Michael spoke as a child in Zombie’s two Halloween movies, but he stopped talking completely shortly after he was checked into Smith’s Grove.
(9). He Somehow Gained Driving Skills- One of the most confusing parts of the original Halloween is how Michael Myers learned how to drive. With Michael being institutionalized since he was six years old, it is incredibly unlikely that he would have learned how to drive. That being said, Michael is seen driving at several points throughout the series.
(8). He Has Sustained Multiple Gun Shot Wounds.

  • Every Michael Myers Movie In Order
Hi and welcome back to another Podcast. Hi and welcome back to another Podcast. This month I am going to be sharing some interesting facts about a few of the most scary and loved characters to ever grace the screen on Halloween. Enjoy!
Michael Myers has become synonymous with the Halloween season, and not just because the film franchise of which he’s the main character is called Halloween. As a child, Michael Myers was admitted into a psychiatric hospital after murdering his sister Judith Myers. Then, fifteen years later, Michael breaks free and spends the rest of his adult life hunting down and killing the rest of his family. Oh, and he doesn’t mind slaughtering anyone else who gets in his way, of course. NOTE: Michael Myers doesn't appear in Halloween III- Season Of The Witch, which is why it's not listed here.
    1. Halloween (1978)
    2. Halloween II (1981)
    3. Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
    4. Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)
    5. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)
    6. Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
    7. Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
    8. Halloween/Halloween II (2007/2009)- These two films are remakes of the original Halloween and its sequel, so with these movies, the timeline of the Michael Myers story is disrupted or rebooted or reinvented, depending on how you want to look at it.
    9. Halloween (2018)
    10. Halloween Kills- is scheduled to have its world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on September 8, 2021. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 15, 2021, by Universal Pictures, after having been delayed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A direct sequel.
    11. Halloween Ends- Is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022.
