Rosie just had our new baby this last week and we wanted to talk about how that went. She had some fear and anxiousness about this birth because of Ezra’s birth. We set up a little pool in our home where Rosie was able to remain when giving birth, and then her midwife had her sit on the toilet to help open things up for the baby. From there, she was able to get in the pool, stand up, and deliver the baby almost right after getting in. We were all pretty shocked the baby came so fast at that point, but Rosie was very relieved that things went so smoothly. “If it doesn’t get to happen and you just went to hospital, like I did with Daithi, that’s great too because you’re already much more prepared than you would be without it.” 26:36

“It was like going to the movies and the lights came on and you were told to leave after the trailers had finished. The movie hadn’t even started and you’re like, ‘Hey it’s finished!’ I spent more time filling the pool than you were having contractions for nearly.” 18:48
