Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski tried to clear the air on Thursday, following last week’s interesting comments about Bryce Harper.

Did he? Dombrowski shot down the ridiculous suggestion that the Philadelphia Phillies are thinking about trading Harper. They are not. But Harper’s agent Scott Boras might have had the most interesting things to say about this whole idea that Harper might not be an elite player anymore: If the Phillies want Harper to crush MLB pitching again, they need a legit power hitter to hit behind him in the lineup.
