Once a self-contained city with over 10,000 residents, Eloise was built to house the poor, the sick, and the forgotten.

Over more than a century, thousands lived—and died—within its walls.

Today, only a fraction of the complex remains.

But those who step inside say the building isn’t empty.

They hear footsteps in abandoned halls. Voices where no one stands. And movements that don’t belong to the living.
