In this episode we talk about wellness as a life-long learning practice and how organizations who support the well-being of their employees, can do so without making their contribution a short-lived exercise. We explore the idea that well-being is who you are, and wellness is what you do. Employers who adopt this approach and focus on developing wellness capability in the workplace from an empowerment perspective, means that employee well-being becomes their greatest asset. We discuss responsibilities and why those organisations who encourage employees to take greater accountability for their wellness outside of work can be seen as true advocates of holistic well-being and are most likely to enjoy the benefits of having a happier and healthier workforce.
