She has sooo much to tell that I feel we didn't even scratch the surface with her story.

• The sexual abuse she suffered?

• her finding her voice and confidence again 
• Life after him "house hopping" to ensure he doesn't find her 

So much to talk about, so much back story and the worst thing is, she escaped that relationship, but now is still having to deal with him through the courts...

Joseph Armbruster is a Queensland Police Officer, husband and father to a daughter. He gives great perspective on what it is like behind the scenes at Queensland Police for women, how much it has changed and what he has learned over the years. Jo and I have connected through mutual passion to help domestic violence survivors. He does a lot of work with domestic violence cases!

We cover so much information in this podcast from workplace, women 101 topics, personal lives, horrible experiences, and future female challenges and changes we want to see. 

I even drop in a comment or twenty about my own experiences in the workplace, as a single mother, hate I have received from women and what I want to change in the world etc.

This week I wanted to open up to you about my own personal struggles and demons with body dysmorphia....

I know so many of us battle with mental health and this is mine... constantly pulling my body apart, comparing myself, being so obsessed with my weights, shape, diet etc. 

I have come along way with it, but it crippled me for years. 

We all have moments of weakness, insecurity and doubt. Here is one of mine.
This is a reminder that it is ok to talk about your insecurities, be vulnerable, be courageous and be who you are.
