A Pisces New Moon on March 13 not only kicks off a new lunar month, but one that will be lived through the archetype of compassion, healing, and spirituality. Pisces is a sign that returns us back to Source … or gets us lost somewhere in between.

This new moon also activates eclipse energies, which means life may be getting a little loud this week. Relationships are at a crossroads. We may be reevaluating what’s important or what we assign value and meaning to. We’re navigating themes of faith. Ultimately, since it’s Pisces Season, we have to surrender.

Welcome to March! This week we see Mars change signs, leaving Taurus for chatty, curious Gemini. It’s a shift in the action after two months of tense energies between Mars and Uranus in Taurus and Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius.

Although Gemini is known for its restlessness, it’s still Pisces Season, which means that it’s time to rest, go slow, and search within for answers and meaning. And when the Pisces Sun crosses the Lunar Nodes later this week, we’re at a turning point, halfway between the eclipses. It may mean that a few twists and turns are in store as our eclipse story gets activated.

We’re delving deeper into Pisces Season, a sign that brings us to the end of the zodiac. Are we ready to let go? To feel? To open our hearts? This week Venus arrives in Pisces, marking a slow move out of this stellium of Aquarius planets. If Aquarius, an air sign, is about analysis and ideas, then Pisces is about feelings and emotions.

We also have a Virgo Full Moon this week acting as a counter to all of Pisces’s dreamy, visionary energy. It’s a full moon that not only puts a spotlight on the practical details of daily living — our schedules, the work we do, the duties and chores we have — but puts our feet back on the ground. It also wants us to focus on our health and wellness, making changes to the system that our lives run on.

We’re in between Aquarius and Pisces Season this week, which means that we’re coming to the end of our journey through the twelve zodiac signs. If Aquarius talks about humanity and society, then Pisces talks about our shared emotional experiences, the sort that profoundly touch our hearts. It’s the sign of empathy and compassion, spirituality and the return to Source. Like all signs, Pisces has a side that pulls us away.

Saturn also makes its first of three squares to Uranus in Taurus this week on February 17. This official start of 2021’s headliner astrology. Some of us may be feeling a seismic shift this week, a pull between a new life that’s been steadily opening up since 2018, 2019 and an old life that’s more than likely too small for us. For others, it’s the next step up in an ongoing story. How do we resolve the tension? Be true to ourselves?

We close out a lunar month this week, one that began on January 13, one that also cleared space and paved the way for the coming lunar month. On February 11 the page turns and we open up a new month, a new chapter devoted to Aquarius.

With six planets in the sign of community, humanity, and society, it’s time to examine our relationship with the whole, from the people who are our friends to the larger collective fabric that we are a part of.

This new moon also brings forward a story that began back in 2018, 2019, pushing us to resolve competing influences or friction between two corners of our lives.

One of the features of February's astrology is that, at one point, we have six planets in Aquarius. That's a lot of Aquarius.  With Venus's arrival in Aquarius on February 1, we're getting a bit of a crowd in the sky as Venus joins the Sun, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mercury.  In Aquarius, Venus finds not only a need for freedom, but a need to connect to others on an intellectual level as well. Aquarius is element Air. It needs to move and socialize. It values big ideas. It wants friendship and is attracted to humanitarian causes.  But when Venus meets up with Saturn and Uranus on February 6, it taps into a story that will be with us throughout 2021, this growing tension between two corners of our life. We may have to make some serious decisions this week or at least start to — Mercury is retrograde after all.   How do we make sure our values line up with our ideals? How do we break out of old patterns and beliefs? How are we finding new freedom and independence?

We've got a bright Leo Full Moon this week on Thursday, January 28, a moon that reminds us to be ourselves, to find joy and passion in our lives. Leo is the sign of the Sun and the Creator. As a complement to Aquarius, it is push to rediscover our individuality during a season dedicating to connecting with community, humanity, and the world.

This week we kick off Aquarius Season. Time to get wonderfully weird.  But we arrive in this new season with a few rocky astrological alignments in store. (Yes, seems to be the same song as previous weeks. Hang in there.)  First, let's not forget that once the Sun's in Aquarius, we're starting to get a closer look at this new Saturn in Aquarius era that we're in. (In fact, this is the first time the Sun makes a conjunction to Saturn in Aquarius since 1993.)  Second, Mars joins Uranus in Taurus, opening up a story that's been working its way through our experiences since 2018-2019.

Big week ahead as a Capricorn New Moon aligns with Pluto. A story that began in 2008 comes forward for another chapter, another thread. Uranus also turns direct. Hold onto your hats.

Welcome to 2021! One of the signatures of 2021 astrology is a tension between Saturn and Uranus. So this week, when Mars finally changes signs and arrives in Taurus, Mars will start to activate this story, one where we're going to feel a friction between the new and the old in our lives. Also, Mercury and Venus change signs this week. The story is changing.
