Looking at lists of plants deemed “aphrodisiacs,” we see everything from strong herbs (yohimbe) to culinary spices (ginger), from adaptogens (ashwangandha) to antispasmodics (kava). There are a lot of herbs that could be considered aphrodisiacs and as we’ll learn, what works for one person may not work for someone else. jim talks about what indications make certain herbs appropriate for certain people and offers engaging ideas to ponder with your loved ones. jim mcdonald is a community herbalist, a manic wildcrafter, a medicine maker, and has been an ardent student of the most learned teachers of herbcraft… the plants themselves.
