You have to ask your target audience what they want.
There's a really easy way to do this.
Ryan Levesque's details this process in his book, "Ask."

The first thing you need to do is forget what you think you know about what people want.
You might be saying, "But I know what these people want because I am in the target market I am selling to!"
Everybody thinks that at first (including me), but 99% of the time you will get this part wrong.
At the very least, you need to ask your audience exactly what it is that they are struggling with. You do this with a very open-ended question like this: "Let me know what your biggest struggle is when it comes to _______. (your niche)"
That's it. Seriously. You can do this with what are called Solo Ads, or blast it out to your list, or your Facebook Group.

A mistake that a lot of business owners and product creators make, including myself, is that they start moving on an idea before they ask anyone if they want it.
Here's how it happens with me: Hey, I have this problem. You know what would solve my problem? This widget thing that I could create and sell. Then I create the widget and nobody car5es, and nobody buys.
Why does this happen? Because you are not your target market, or avatar, or whatever you want to call it. You don't know what they need!
But there's an easy way to find out. Ask them what they want and what they need, and do it in a Facebook Group!
If you want me to create a free training on how to do this in a Facebook Group, email me at [email protected]. If I get enough response, I'll do a free training.
(You see what I'm doing? I'm asking before I create the thing!)
If you are a Coach or a Consultant, you need to stop giving legal and financial advice.
We know that you are great at business. You can run FB ads, and you're great at motivating and selling.
You're even great on camera, and your bank account is bursting at the seams because of how great you are.
But if you want to hold on to that money, you need to refer ALL legal questions about the LLC, and S-Corp to a professional. Period. Trust me, I've watched your LLC videos.
You know nothing! And you're going to lose it all because you're advising your students on something you don't understand.
Stop it. Stop it right now!
Coaches and Consultants - If you need someone to walk your clients through the process, or just create everything for them - go to https://llcfreedom.com/calendar and set a time to talk with me! You'll be glad you did!
There's a very strange thing going on right now, and people are making money from it.
It's called ASMR, and from what I can tell, it involves eating pickles really close to a microphone, tapping on party hats, and talking a lot of nonsense (on purpose).
Since you're probably skeptical, here's a link to a video of youtuber that has made 10K off of one video doing these exact things!
http://bit.ly/2BGJiwG
But I'm not here to make fun of ASMR people, or whatever you call them. I'm making a point that there are really weird niches, and people are using them to make a living doing things that they really enjoy!
So grab a jar of pickles, start whispering into the mic, and cash those checks, baby!

A lot of entrepreneurs make the mistake of confusing marketing with sales. They are different.
Marketing is what drives the traffic. Sales is what happens once the traffic arrives.
I'm weak when it comes to sales. I know this. I never learned any tricks when it comes to copywriting, and I'm not slick on the phone or in person by any stretch of the imagination.
But I've realized that if I want to really take my business to the next level, I can't ignore this weakness any longer. I have to start learning about sales.
In the episode, I talk about a guy named Jim Edwards. He's a master copywriter and he creates software that helps people write great sales copy really quickly. But for me, that's not enough. I want to know why the copy is good sales copy. What's the reason?
(You can find Jim Edwards here: http://thejimedwardsmethod.com/)
So I reached out to him and asked him where I should start. He suggested a few books and I went out and bought the first one yesterday.
It's called Seducing Strangers.

There's some very specific language that can make your business impossible to sell.
If you're collecting email addresses on a landing page or anywhere on your website, make sure you are not including the standard language, "We Will not rent or sell your email address."
It might seem like a great promise, but a lot of the value in your business is related to that email list, and if you can't sell the list, you can't sell your business! Want to know the three things that are getting most business owners sued?
Go to www.llcfreedom.com/getsued to get my FREE REPORT! I promise not to spam you, but if I sell my business, I make no promises!
Can anyone be an expert? Of course not!
There's this idea that any person, regardless of experience, can go out and sell themselves as an expert in any field they desire. This is a case of, "If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true." Look, I understand why this idea is appealing.
Becoming an expert in something is really hard! It takes time, dedication, sacrifice, and money. Most people don't have those things, or at least don't have the patience to gain those things. But here's the good news - You don't have to be an "expert" to accomplish things in your business.
There is no requirement that you become an expert at audio production to start a podcast - there are freelancers that will help you with that. There is no requirement that you become an expert writer to write a blog post; there is software that will help you with that. So stop lying to your clients and yourself about your expertise and start making the sacrifice that it takes to become a real expert!
