Which is a chronic inflammatory condition of the esophagus and can be characterized by an accumulation of eosinophils, a white blood cell, in the esophageal lining. EoE is diagnosed through a combination of medical history, physical exam and endoscopy. The different treatments can be offered are dietary elimination and medications such as corticosteroids.
