Alpen Fuel founder Shaun Durkee joins the podcast this week and tells the story behind his journey to starting Alpen Fuel with his wife, Emily.  Alpen Fuel manufactures the highest calorie, quickest prep backpacking breakfasts in the game. After being laid off from his job because of covid, Shaun and Emily decided to take the true leap of faith and dive into Alpen Fuel full time. Shaun tells us about what the business looks like now, along with big plans for the future.
