Brazil has been one of the main topics in 2023, from approving a sports betting regulation to starting an investigation into match fixing and all things in between. However, it was missing something key for the industry to develop: online casinos.

While the desire to have an online gambling industry clashed with the reality of Brazil only approving fixed odds sports betting, a recent amendment changed the whole scenario and opened the doors to the regulated online casino world.

This week, the Chamber of Deputies approved that amendment and the bill is now headed to the Senate, gaining momentum to be signed into law before the end of the year.
