Well, it finally happened. We broke the chain of movies that at least one of us has seen by watching "Phantom of the Paradise" – a movie that neither of us had seen. This is a film directed by the "great" Brian DePalma (although there's some debate how "great" his films are, a topic which consumes us for the majority of this podcast). "Phantom of the Paradise" can best be described as a film that soaked up the incredibly awful fashion & design styles of the early 70's and made my nightmare out of it. We don't know how else to describe it. This will be a good litmus test for whether or not we can hold your attention for a film that probably none of you will ever go out of your way to see. No clue how this has a 7.4/10 on imdb.
Performers of note: Jessica Harper, Paul Williams.
