Renee and her husband, J.J., have raised two sons to adulthood and are still in the throes of parenting their 13-year-old daughter, who they adopted from Ethiopia. From disobedient toddlers to teenagers questioning God, she knows firsthand that raising humans isn’t easy … but it’s such a worthy calling.

Somewhere along the journey, Renee has learned the secrets of becoming A Confident Mom—which happens to be the title of her new book. “Not confident in my ability,” she explains, “but confident in God’s ability.”
