Who remembers the mullet hair cut? Business at the front, party at the back

In today’s episode Jac and Ral discuss the importance of fun in the workplace – yes you can have business at ‘the front’ but if you’re not also helping create a party atmosphere, then you’re doing yourself and your colleagues a disservice! And did you know serial killers (Hitler as an example) don’t have a sense of humour remember that!

 

There’s research that proves that laughter and lightness at work helps your mood improve, reduces stress levels, brings you better memory and recall, creates energy and releases tension. What’s not to love??

Jac sees it as her mission to change an environment she walks into if it’s too serious, dull and unhappy. She takes her role as a leader seriously when it comes to connecting with others.

 

Ral went and trained as a comedian to ensure she could optimise her humour for her keynotes – not only do you get a brilliantly intelligent speaker, you get a funny one too!
