Jeff Garmire is a highly accomplished backpacker. At just 32 years old, and during the recording of this podcast, he holds the Colorado Trail FKT (fastest-known time), has the speed record for climbing Costa Rica's tallest Mountain: Cerro Chirripo, and has completed the Calendar Year Triple Crown (AT, PCT, CDT in one year). His trail name is "Legend"; needless to say, it's a name that fits. Today we'll talk to him about his adventures and accomplishments, and try to gain some insight into what it takes to do what seems impossible to other backpackers.
