Author, Human Rights Activist, and international speaker Christine Caine, sits down with Paula to talk about being Greek, her faith, and the passion to pursue a difficult calling without knowing where to start. Christine discusses what it was like growing up Greek Orthodox, her journey as a Christian, learning that she was adopted at the age of 33, and being the first in her family to marry a man who wasn’t Greek. She talks about the shame that surrounded her as a young woman who was the subject of sexual abuse for 12 years and how those difficult experiences have helped her better understand humanity and help others through her nonprofit, A21, which aims to abolish slavery in the 21st century.
