Following four years of speculation, UK Gambling appears to be exiting its regulatory purgatory as clarity begins to appear on its regulatory future.

Elsewhere, the Gambling Commission announced that it will begin its pilot test on Affordability Checks as recommended by the Gambling Review’s white paper.

Yet as UK Gambling nears its Spring resolutions, Parliament will debate demands to abandon financial risk checks deemed untenable for UK racing and intrusive on recreational customers.
