The UK and the Netherlands betting industries have a lot on their plate regarding payments at the moment, as policymakers in both countries prepare to initiate finance risk checks as an essential part of the customer journey.

These are not the only countries where we’ve seen significant regulatory developments however, as this week the Financial Action Task Force removed four countries from its ‘grey list’ of countries with strategic deficiencies in their anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing frameworks.
