Ricardo and Ana are both new to the industry so the pair recount how they have found their first day at the summit, as well as discuss who they have spoken to and what they have learnt so far. Both note that a talking point throughout day one was the potential issues regarding KYC in Brazil, ahead of the country’s regulated online gaming market opening in the new year.

Later on in the episode, the trio also talk about the ongoing battle between the Attorney General’s office (PGR) and the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj). Last week, PGR reinforced the request to prohibit the operation of online bookmakers authorized by Loterj throughout the national territory, citing that the relaxation of territorial limitations could generate a federative imbalance.
