Eric and Justin discuss issues surrounding identity within the profession of music education. The topic allows them to share their personal experiences dealing with identity issues because they are music educators of color that attended an HBCU. They also offer some suggestions on how we can approach a more inclusive approach as music educators to celebrate the identity of others.
