Gwynn Turnbull co-founded one of the most successful and cool events of our age, The Californios Ranch Roping & Stock Horse Contest. It ran for years and eventually she took lessons she'd learned in the film industry to produce, film, edit, and put out several very well liked videos, beginning with "Branding: Roping & Stock Handling Techniques in the Great Basin and Old California Traditions". If anyone is interested in that style of roping and stock handling, all of their videos are excellent and very well done.

She's also been a stuntwoman, a businesswoman, a poet, a screenwriter, clinician, and is now working on her own Therapeutic Riding Program.
