BSS Podcast Ep. 54 – Importance of getting client reviews and testimonials
Ryan and Mike chat in this week's episode about how important it is to have reviews and testimonials.
It can be a struggle asking and just getting clients to give the time to give one. Mike discusses it further about certain processes you could use to make it a part of your sales process. If nothing else, ask about it on your 3,6,9 month follow up.
They are important as they serve as a credit check so people can do their research during that phase.
Don't be afraid of not having a five star review. They happen, regardless of your effort or situation. People don't expect you to be perfect, but they will take notice on how you handle or respond to a negative review.
Ryan elaborates on the importance from a digital perspective. He details out on how reviews can boost your appearance on the web or places like Google Maps. We all do it, we go to the business that has a higher number of reviews that are 3-4+ stars.
He suggests making it as simple as quick as possible to give to your clients. Consider a pre-process, such as fill in the number of stars and enter comments here, via a QR code they scan from their phone.
Ryan has ideas like, 'leave a review and the number of reviews we have at the end of 60 days, we will donate to a charity'.
He elaborates that if you are a B2C business, you're going to want a high volume of reviews.
