Taylor Schmidt is originally from Chicago and moved to Silicon Valley 2 years ago to go all in on AI. He grew up in a 3rd generation construction family and went to the School of Architecture at the University of Notre Dame. He worked at 4 different high-end residential firms in Chicago and LA before starting his own design consulting practice. He has now put his traditional architecture endeavors on pause to pursue a new venture called Corbu.

Taylor Schmidt from Corbu AI discusses their AI design assistant platform for architects and interior designers. The platform, called Corbu, is designed to be an extension of the designer's hand and amplify their current design process. It aggregates different workflows of AI into one platform, including text to image, image editing, and more. Corbu allows designers to teach the AI the style of their firm, personalize the generated images, and quickly iterate between different design options. It also enables designers to place real objects in a scene by embedding them into the 3D space. The goal of Corbu is to enhance the design process, save time, and improve communication with clients.
