As the United States celebrates its 246th birthday this year, we take a closer look at the July 4th holiday and its history. 

In this edition of “The Mo You Know,” we talk about why some founders believed that July 2nd was actually the official independence day, the heated debate over whether the Declaration of Independence should mention slavery, and the remarkable coincidence of which presidents died on July 4th.
