The last few days of the year are here, and I have to say—they are my favorite.

This is the time when I get to dream of spring, plan my garden, and set my intentions for the new year. I pour over seed catalogs, sketch out my garden beds, and get everything ready for seed starting.

And it’s not just about gardening. I savor my Christmas gifts, simmer a pot of vegetable soup on the stove, and take time to reflect on the year behind me and the one ahead.
