Drew Laine joins Mike this week to talk about his journey and how he got to where he is today by not staying at rock bottom. As the the founder of PenaltyBox Sports, PenaltyBox Foundation, and Drew Laine Brands, Drew shares how his multiple businesses came to be and how when you know you’re on the right path everything comes together.
Mike and Drew also discuss the power of investing in yourself and making your own path. Becoming and owning who you truly are. It takes courage, time, and consistency to truly own it, but once you do you will gain clarity and nothing matters like it used to.
It’s ok to be different, you do not have to live your life the way others tell you to. You do not have to fit their mold - their goals don’t have to be yours.
From their experience, you typically hit rock bottom because you are trying to be someone you are not and building a legacy is lonely. So you have to ask yourself “what do I want my legacy to be?” And show up every day to lay the foundation for it. Then “if you can lay your head down at night and be proud of how you lived that day… that’s a life worth living“.
If you’re currently building an empire and determined to leave a legacy that matters - this is the episode for you!
