I want to talk about being busy and busying. 

I used to complain about being sooo busy. I had charts to catch up on, bookkeeping, insurance billing, emails, call backs, new software to learn… it was like my life was a never-ending to-do list. 

The life of a solo Chinese medicine doc, right? So much to do and that didn’t even include treating patients! 

I look back at that time and cringe. Cringe because I can see from my current perspective all of the unnecessary stress and inefficiencies I was creating for myself. All of that busying was entirely my own doing. 

Here is a list of things that my present self wants to tell my past self. My past crazy busy self.
