The phrase “happy wife, happy life” is one we all probably hear at some point whether IRL or in the movies, but it’s one resurfaces in our relationship quite often. It speaks to the notion of relationship compromise and the realities of maintaining a healthy relationship - does it require compromise or is that a myth? This episode ended up being a true therapy session for us as we’ve never truly spoken on these topics before and through exploring the depth of the “happy wife, happy life” phenomenon we realized there was some room for growth in our communication.
