Regular listeners will know that there has been trouble in paradise. Following a dinner party at Nick O'Hern's where some of his friends felt the name 'wolfpack' to describe Talk Birdie listeners was exclusionary to women - ironic considering there are females wolves. At this link is a one hour video on wolves which apparently explains that 'wolf' is multi gender. We say apparently because we got bored about 20-seconds into it, but you may like to watch it.
Anyway, long story short, we asked for your suggestions on alternative names, and today we run through what you've said and narrow it down to four options, which we will put a poll up on Twitter to vote on. Have a listen to the pod, then make sure to vote on Twitter in our poll here. If you're not following us on Twitter yet...please do.
Oh and by the way, Mark has now purchased an account on this AI music site, and he has made a tribute song for Nick - against our better judgement we close the pod with it.
We're coming from Titleist and Footjoy HQ, and we're here thanks to our great partners:
Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, send a voicemail here, and see us on YouTube here.
