The answer is thousands of times. The human is the only animal on earth that pays a thousand times for the same mistake. The rest of the animals pay once for every mistake they make. But not us. It is okay to regret past decisions, but not to dwell on them. What is not okay is not learning and growing from those situations.

Focus on doing your best today and the future will take care of itself.
