He was a respected Iraqi policeman, husband and dad. But when someone tried to take his life, Ghanim al-Shnen knew he had to flee his country.

Follow his journey to Australia where he hoped for a better life, but his situation went from bad to worse, to devastating.

Ghanim is now fighting for his independence and against the Australian Government for his family.
