We had a great discussion on better ways to integrate CO2 heat pumps into large facilities and get optimal annual system COP with Andy Baker from Your Clean Energy LLC The conversation covered CO2 heat pump fundamentals and novel integration methods, based on the success of our 80-ton heat pump project at the Alaska SeaLife Center. Four Mayekawa Unimo were used in parallel to offset electric boiler heat load for baseboards, air handler coils, domestic hot water, and outdoor slab heat.
