Today on Creating Your Happy Place, we are chatting with special guest Elise Buie about homeschooling! Living in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, she and her family lost their home and had to be evacuated to Georgia. All the while homeschooling her children and overcoming everything life threw at them by having fun horseback riding, building sailboats, and learning other important life skills!
Elise Buie is a Seattle attorney who has run a virtual family law practice since 2015. Elise is also a divorced mom/stepmom of 6 who thrived through Hurricane Katrina, Divorce, Relocation, and opening her own law firm. Elise specializes in supporting parents as they shift from their "spouse brain" to their "Co-CEOs of Team Child" brain so that they can co-parent in their strengths while maximizing their children and minimizing destructive conflict.
