Episode 124 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports,  features an in-depth conversation with Jeff Glass, the former World Junior Championship gold medal winner who took a 7-year detour through Russia before making his NHL debut 13 years after being drafted and began a transition into coaching while playing with the Anaheim Ducks' AHL affiliate in San Diego last season.

In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, Glass shares his unique path from junior hockey stardom and being a third round pick of the Ottawa Senators, to starting in the ECHL before choosing to go overseas, and how representing Canada while playing in Russia ultimately led him back to give the NHL one more shot. He tells us how a mindset exercise he did with Pete Fry to plan his path to the NHL played out almost to the day for his debut with the Chicago Blackhawks, has us laughing at stories of goalies using Yoga blocks -- yes Yoga blocks -- in their equipment to look bigger in the less regulated equipment world of Russia, and offers incredible insights into how all those experiences help shape his philosophy now as a coach and as he began to shift into more of a mentorship role while still playing last season.
