Ashley Siegfried, a 44 yr old part-time fitness instructor and stay-at-home mom to 3 children ages 12, 10, and 8 from Parker, CO, a suburb south of Denver. Ashley and has lost an incredible 25 lbs with clean IF! Ashley spent her entire adult life constantly restricting food and over-exercising just to maintain her weight. Even though she was never technically overweight but always on the higher side of what is considered normal for her height and felt uncomfortable. Like so many of us, Ashley always listened to what we’ve been told our entire life - “to eat several small meals” throughout the day… which just makes us hungry all the time! 3 years ago, Ashley was on a skiing trip and was hit by another skier and tore her left ACL and most of the cartilage in her left knee. Ashley’s days of super high intense cardio for hours was over… that combined with being in her forties her weight just started to creep up. Ashley had heard of IF before but always dismissed it since she was maintaining her weight by deprivation and over exercising just fine, right? Today, Ashley’s been maintaining her 25lb weight loss now for over 4 months! She now exercises for fun and could not care less about counting calories. Ashley believes this lifestyle is the easiest way to enjoy foods you love and stay at a healthy weight.
