In this single topic episode, I break down the two different types of cardio/conditioning that are the most effective at improving your health and performance.
Many people don't put much thought into their cardio. They do it for the wrong reasons and/or at the wrong intensity. Just going out and getting tired should not be your goal when it comes to cardio or conditioning (or any type of training). Sadly, most people who do cardio do it with this goal in mind, because they feel a sense of accomplishment or because their favorite influencer told them something like "no pain, no gain". They'll gauge how effective their workout was by how out of breath they were, how much they sweat, how sore they are the next day, or how much the "kicked their own ass". This is not the best approach for long term results.
Cardio can be great for health (mental and physical), improving your recovery, and boosting strength training performance, especially when done properly (at the right dose and intensity).
