This week the Bloodhaus gang goes Down Under for the Australian found footage horror film, Lake Mungo.  From Wikipedia: "Lake Mungo is a 2008 Australian psychological horror film written and directed by Joel Anderson and stars Talia Zucker and Martin Sharpe. It employs mockumentary-style storytelling with found footage and docufiction elements, using actor "interviewees" to present the narrative of a family trying to come to terms with the drowning death of their daughter, and the potentially supernatural events they experience after it."

But First! Drusilla and Josh talk about typewriters, Josh's John Waters ripoff era, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli, Gene Kelly and Summer Stock, Jinx Monsoon, Supernatural vs Riverdale, and more!

Then they get into the feature. They can't believe documentaries aren't the normal format for found footage horror. They discuss man vs nature horror and comp titles like Tickled, Three Brothers, Ghost Watch, and Picnic at Hanging Rock.  Its influence on Mike Flanagan's Haunting of Hill House. They discuss the film's history, its rise as a cult film, and its mysterious director, Joel Anderson. Then they play Have They Seen It?
