So many movies and television shows owe a lot of their success to Akira. Stranger Things, The Matrix, Batman: The Animated Series – they all drew inspiration from this classic anime about a dystopian Japanese city riddled with violence, misery, and some of the coolest hand drawn visuals you’ll ever see.
