We’ve finally had a wet race this season and what a race it was too! 78 pitstops, a mix of strategies (some worked some didn’t), points for Williams, spins behind the safety car and a Toro Rosso on the podium for the first time in 11 years (on the same podium as the last Toro Rosso driver to achieve it). The German Grand Prix didn’t disappoint when it came to action and excitement and that’s now the 3rd exciting race we’ve had since the French Grand Prix (which is looking more and more like a bad memory)

This week on the podcast we take a look at the race and also the implications that it could have on driver contracts for 2020 after Pierre Gasly once again failed to perform and Valtteri Bottas was told that he needed solid races here and in Hungary next week to cement his 2020 Mercedes contract. Could we be getting driver moves at 2 of the top 3 teams this off-season? Also we look at what Haas can do with their drivers who managed to hit each other again amid the rumours that we could see Pascal Wehrlein in the car by Belgium. Along with what seems to be the new F1 debate, drag strips for run-off areas, good or bad?
