A former standout player at the University of South Alabama, Redus went on to play professionally across China, South America, and the Middle East before transitioning into coaching. His coaching journey began at West Georgia, followed by successful stints at Delta State, Vanderbilt, and SMU before joining the powerhouse staff at LSU under Coach Kim Mulkey. Known for his energy, relationship-building, and player development skills, Redus has made a strong impact at every level of the game. His diverse background gives him a unique perspective on the global nature of basketball and the importance of adapting to each program’s culture. At LSU, he’s helped the Tigers continue their rise as one of the nation’s elite programs.
